Our Story

Hello! I’m Rebecca - the founder, maker, creator, and everything-in-between behind what is now called Wild & Well Botanicals (formerly Enchanted Wicks).

This journey started right here in this photo, in my Mum and Dad’s kitchen in 2018, with a pan of wax on the hob and a couple of jars. After qualifying in Massage & Aromatherapy, and with lots of encouragement from my family, I took the leap and officially started my little business in 2020. I had just left my retail job and moved in with my wonderfully supportive partner in Lancashire - and finally gave myself permission to try.

My dad was a huge part of that decision. He was my biggest cheerleader and encouraged me to go for it every step of the way. He was - and will always be - my hero: kind, gentle, hilarious, and endlessly supportive. Losing him unexpectedly to Covid in January 2021 changed everything. But his belief in me is woven into the heart of this business. I carry that forward with everything I create.

The name Enchanted Wicks will always hold a special place in my heart because of that connection. But as the business has grown beyond just candles - with essential oil blends, botanical rollers, and natural home fragrance - I felt it was time for a name that reflected the fuller picture. Wild & Well Botanicals is that name: grounded in nature, rooted in wellness, and still made with all the heart and intention I began with.

This business is still just me - making, learning, crafting, photographing, packaging, posting, and pouring so much love into every step. It means the world that you're here.

All of our blends are made using natural, plant-based ingredients that are always vegan, cruelty-free, and free from synthetic additives. We choose each ingredient with intention, keeping your wellbeing - and the wellbeing of the planet - in mind.

As an ethical business, we also work hard to ensure every part of what we do is as eco-conscious as possible. From avoiding single-use plastics to using recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable packaging, we strive to keep our footprint light.
